	Susanne Seiler, Switzerland: Susanne Seiler was delighted after just the second session with her hearing care professional. “Suddenly, I heard my own steps again, the rustling of my clothes and my PC’s fan. I understand my conversation partners in basically all situations and can have relaxed talks, but I had to relearn many forgotten sounds, e.g. rain drops or the wind on a sailboat." Susanne Seiler would no longer be able to perform her demanding job without a perfect hearing system. She often works in operating rooms and instructs personnel regarding the monitoring equipment. Here, the sense of hearing is very important. “I have to understand people who wear a mask and don’t face me when they talk to me. This is made even more difficult by the fact that there is a complex background noise in an operation theatre and conversations can only be held relatively quietly.” Already in the test phase Susanne Seiler was very happy with the sound quality. ”When Savia by Phonak was inserted into my ears, one thing became immediately clear: I have to have this instrument, no other will do. Finally, I had the feeling that I was hearing as before. Mrs Seiler is also enthusiastic about the wearing comfort, as she wears her two behind-the-ear-instruments throughout the whole day without actually being aware of them. 	Viggo Rolighed, Denmark: Viggo Rolighed is one of the very first test persons in the Savia field trials. He had been wearing ITE hearing instruments of a different manufacturer before the Savia fitting. Viggo states, “Savia passed the test for me when I attended a big Norwegian fair. Even though there was plenty of noise – after all, about 48,000 persons attended the fair in three days – it was easy for me to talk to the customers and to understand the whole conversation. The biggest surprise for me was that I wasn’t tired or had the usual headache after a long and busy day.” Previously, Viggo always asked his wife to turn the radio off when he got home from work. To him it was just disturbing noise. But now this perception has changed and he can effortlessly talk to his wife while the music is playing. “It is very important for me to be able to use my cell phone, as this is an important part of my job. Today, I can use the cell phone without any difficulties – something I couldn’t do previously. My family has also noticed that I don’t talk as loudly as I used to. They often had to tell me to speak quietly.” At parties he used to be able to talk only to the people next to him, but nowadays Viggo can also talk to the other people around the table – also people across the table. This makes parties so much easier and more enjoyable for Viggo. “My job is very demanding. I work at Jesperhus Blomsterpark (around 270,000 visitors per year) and arrange visits, show people around etc. It is therefore crucial that I understand the customers immediately. With Savia I can finally rely on my hearing aids because I hear exactly what the customers tell me for the first time.” Life is for living, he says and smiles. He simply feels less handicapped with his new hearing aids.

To Whom It May Concern,

I was asked to write a testimonial about my experience with Puretone Hearing, and I would be more then happy to. My new top of the line hearing aid that I purchased has given me new pure comfort and joy! I hardly know I’m wearing it until it beeps to tell me it needs a new battery. I absolutely adore Christina Beer, the representative that tested my hearing and was able to tell me that technology had improved enough, that I could now be fitted with a hearing aid that would allow me to hear for the first time in my life. I was so overwhelmed with emotion I cried. I have spent a lifetime of people assuming I was a stuck up or stupid just because I wasn’t able to hear conversation. And lord help me if anyone tried to talk to me on my right side. If they didn’t touch me first to get my attention, I wouldn’t know they were talking to me. I will be 50 years old this summer and felt that I deserved to purchase the absolute best that money could buy from Puretone. They have more than delivered in sales service and in compassion. It’s a wonderful company and I’m so glad they found me in the phone book and looked me up. I can Hear! It’s opened up a whole new world for me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Just a short note to tell you how much Puretone Hearing aids have helped my life. Before trying your hearing aids, I missed most of the conversations that was going on while my family was visiting let alone talking to strangers. To Whom It May Concern,

A couple of years ago I noticed I was having trouble hearing people, and when I heard then I had trouble understanding what I was hearing. I would always say to my wife "What did they say?" This was very annoying for her and repeating the same answers to me was frustrating.

I went to a hearing clinic put on by Puretone, they showed me how I was suffering from hearing loss. I was fitted with 2 hearing aids and couldn't believe what a difference it made. I remember when I first got them I would ask my wife if she was trying to break all the dishes. She would say she put them away in a normal way like she used too, except now I can hear better.

Puretone has been good to me, if I need to have them adjusted or cleaned I would take in and have them looked after right away. I've had them almost 3 years now, and I don't know how I could live without them. They have been a rich blessing to me and have added to my life, not to mention my wife's who used to repeat things for me all the time. I would highly recommend Puretone to anyone who has trouble hearing or understanding sound, it is such a treat to hear birds sing or children laughing.

My name is Erbin Weins. I'm 66 years old and have been a farmer all my life. All those years I never wore any ear protection. As our grandchildren came along, I knew I was missing so much and found it very flustering. PURETONE would phone and it would rest on deaf ears. So many people I had talked to over the years were not pleased with their product and the hearing aids would end up in a drawer. This information from friends, convinced me that I was not interested.

On one occasion when Puretone called my wife of 43 years marked it on a calendar. With her persistence we met with Christina, the Puretone Rep. Very casual, pleasent and reassuring, she introduced Puretone to me. Immediately I was impressed and surprised with the difference. It was then that I realized how deaf I had become. I hated to take them out. Without referring to any other company I was sold and signed on the dotted line and ordered the very BEST.

Now I have had my Puretone's for over 2 months. I have not had any problems and the adjustments were easy. I was like a kid at Christmas waiting for my hearing device from Puretone.

In 1986, I bought a pair of hearing aids that I just could not get used to. All I heard was too much background noise. It felt Like my head was in a drum. Now with the new hearing aids from Puretone I feel I can hear better without all the background noise. They feel very comfortable in my ears and are very easy to use with the remote.
